What is special about Cultivate Learning?
Cultivate Learning is a Christ-centered preschool that teaches children foundational academic skills as well as personal skills such as learning to manage emotions and being responsible for our actions. This is social-emotional learning and character education.
Many lessons are created and taught using a Biblical perspective so that each child can be empowered to love learning, love themselves, and love others in the way that God intended.
The small class sizes (no more than 8 students) allow me to tailor every activity to the unique needs of each student so students are continuously challenged to learn new skills through fun, hands-on activities and good, old-fashioned playtime!
The 4 hour classes are packed with imaginative and free play time, art and craft activities, read alouds, and preschool level lessons. It's my goal to cultivate children that are academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually ready for kindergarten and beyond!
Together, we cultivate a classroom community of safety, respect, responsibility, and love. Families of all beliefs are welcome to join our community! I am remaining transparent that this program does include Bible teachings, prayer, and Christian values.
I am here to partner with families in the education of each child. Transitioning to preschool is a big milestone and can be an overwhelming change. I provide support for both children and families with this transition through open communication and working together to make sure everyone's experience is positive and empowering.
